Harriet Hageman, Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Wyoming, today issued the following statement regarding the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates:
“This is a ruling with decidedly mixed results. On one hand, it’s a great victory for thousands of working people in Wyoming who will no longer be forced to choose between taking a shot that they may not want and keeping their jobs. On the other hand, many people who work in health care will still be faced with that difficult dilemma, and we have already seen workforce shortages at medical facilities in Wyoming and across the country because of it. I continue to believe that the entirety of Biden’s mandate is unconstitutional because there are simply no laws that allow the federal government to order private citizens to be vaccinated.”
